My name is Melanie and I am a dental hygienist. I graduated in 1995 attended Durham and Niagara colleges. I have worked in family general dentistry, periodontal, paediatric and orthodontic dental treatment. My goal is to provide gentle and thorough dental care in a comfortable and friendly setting, while improving clients oral health. I love working with kids, am social and open for discussion, welcoming questions. I hope to make your experience at D4K enjoyable.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Hello!
I’m Sasha. I joined D4K in 2015 as a registered dental hygienist excited to work in a paediatric office after working in a general practice for 3 years. I graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Durham College in 2011. I also completed the dental reception program in 2009 and the dental assisting levels 1/2 program in 2008.
My passion has always been to work with children. While I was in school studying to become a dental hygienist, I was also working at a Montessori school with children of all ages. My goal as your child’s dental hygienist is to not only help them feel calm and comfortable, but to build their trust and ease any anxiety and/or fears they may have being in the dental office.
I married the love of my life in 2012. We had our daughter in 2014 and our son in 2017, completing our family. We enjoy movie nights on Saturdays with, of course, 2 big bowls of popcorn but it seems as if there is never enough to go ‘round. I’ve always loved reading and roller blading, but with 2 growing children it’s nearly impossible to do either of the two. So off to the gym we all go! I’ve learned to love cycling class and the kids not only get their energy out but the ants in their pants too.
I will always put your child’s needs first. I am always open to discussing and planning ways to help make this experience the best and most positive for your child.

Level II Dental Assistant
Natasha has been a dental assistant for 5 years at a GP office and 1.5 years at Dentistry 4 Kids. Her current role is dental assisting and preparing all treatment coordinator letters for all referring doctors and hospital. I love helping with interacting with patients and making the feel comfortable. Our patients enjoy her bubbly and positive personality and radiant smile. In her spare time, Natasha loves to travel, cook and dine out and spend time outdoors. Natasha has 5 kids at home and she loves being a Mom. She values family and that includes our D4K family!

Level I Dental Assistant
Meet Tati!
Tati has been a dental assistant and a clinical manager at our office since 1996. Tati enjoys interacting with our little patients to ensure that they have a pleasant experience. When not assisting our dentist you will find Tati organizing the clinic to ensure that our office runs smoothly. During her free time Tati enjoys spending time with her family!

Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator / Level II Dental Assistant
Meet Shannon, our orthodontic treatment co-ordinator!
Shannon has been with the D4K team since 2018. She has also been a certified dental assistant for 14 years! Her favourite thing about her job is connecting with her patients, and making sure they leave with a smile!
When not at work, Shannon loves to spend time with her husband, daughter and kitties.

Melisa has been at Dentistry 4 Kids for 13 years but in pediatric dentistry for over 24 yrs! As a hospital/treatment co-ordinator, Melisa is passionate about helping you will all your treatment needs.
